MPPSC Selection Process 2025, Prelims, Mains and Interview

MPPSC Exam 2025 is divided into three stages: Preliminary, Mains, and Interview. The Preliminary is of 400 marks and will serve as a qualifier for the Mains exam, while the Mains exam tests subject knowledge through six papers. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mains and Interview.

Stages of MPPSC Selection Process 2025

The MPPSC selection process for 2025 consists of three stages: Preliminary, Mains, and Interview.

  1. Prelims: General knowledge and knowledge of CSAT are tested through objective questions.
  2. Mains: The written skills of a candidate are tested in this Stage.
  3. Interview: After qualifying for the Mains, candidates will be called for the MPPSC Interview, where their personality and communication skills are assessed.

Selection Process for MPPSC Prelims:

Under the MPPSC Prelims exam, there will be two papers, namely:

  1. General Education and General Aptitude Test. Both tests will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  2. There will be a 200-mark exam in both papers, and 120 minutes or 2 hours will be allotted for each paper.
  3. There will be no negative marks for wrong answers in the MPPSC (State Service Examination) Preliminary Exam.
  4. 20 times the vacant posts will be called for the MPPSC Mains.

MPPSC Selection Process 2025 Mains Exam:

The first three papers of General Studies in the MPPSC Mains Exam 2025 are worth 300 marks each, while the fourth General Studies paper is worth 200 marks. Additionally, 200 marks are also allotted for the Hindi paper, while a maximum of 100 marks have been allotted for the Hindi Essay.

MPPSC Interview 2025:

After qualifying the MPPSC Mains exam, candidates are called for the MPPSC Interview, which has a total of 185 marks. The MPPSC Final Merit List 2025 is prepared by combining the marks of both the Mains and the Interview. Candidates who qualify for the interview will be allotted a category based on their ranking in the merit list.
