Today, we will discuss the examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the posts of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (EPFO). Candidates who qualify for this examination are recruited for the posts of EO/AO and APFC in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Eligible candidates are selected through a two-stage recruitment process, which will include a written test and an interview.

UPSC EPFOÂ EO/AO & APFC Question Paper Pattern:
The UPSC EPFO ​​2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode and will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. There will be a negative marking of one-third of a mark for each incorrect answer. The UPSC EPFO ​​selection process includes a Recruitment Test (RT), followed by an interview, with both carrying combined weightage in the final merit list.
