Privacy Policy — PQP: Previous Question Papers

Last updated: 21 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the PQP: Previous Question Papers mobile application (“PQP”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use it. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

PQP is an independent educational app for government exam aspirants in India. It provides previous year question papers, syllabus, admit cards, results, cut-off, answer keys, sarkari naukri updates, and an AI study assistant (“PQP Ask AI”). PQP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any government body or examination authority. All exam-related content is collected from publicly available official sources and shared for educational and informational purposes only.

1. Who We Are

The App is owned and operated by:

PQP APP: Website: https://previousquestionpoint.in Email: support@reviousquestionpoint.in Location: India

For any privacy-related questions, contact us at the email above.

2. Information We Collect

PQP does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, phone number, or email to use the App. We do not directly ask you for personal information.

However, certain information is collected automatically or through third-party services we use:

a) Information collected automatically (via third-party services)

  • Device & usage data: device model, operating system version, app version, language, and general app interaction data.
  • Advertising identifiers: an advertising ID (such as the Google Advertising ID / GAID) and related identifiers used to show and measure ads.
  • Approximate location: may be inferred by advertising partners from your IP address or device settings (not precise GPS).

This data is collected and processed by our advertising partner (Google AdMob), not stored by us directly.

b) Information you provide to the AI feature (“PQP Ask AI”)

  • When you type a question into PQP Ask AI, your message text is sent to Google’s Generative AI (Gemini) service to generate a response.
  • Do not enter sensitive personal information (such as passwords, financial details, Aadhaar/PAN, or health information) into the AI chat. Questions are processed by Google to return an answer and are subject to Google’s privacy terms.

c) Information stored only on your device

  • Saved/bookmarked posts and AI usage count (used to enforce a daily question limit) are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data stays on your phone, is not uploaded to us, and is removed if you clear the app data or uninstall the App.

3. How We Use Information

We (and our service providers) use the information to:

  • Display and load exam content fetched from our website (previousquestionpoint.in).
  • Show advertisements and keep the App free to use.
  • Provide the PQP Ask AI study-assistant feature.
  • Enforce fair-use limits (such as the daily AI question limit).
  • Understand general app performance, fix bugs, and improve features.
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

PQP uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, app-open, and native ads. AdMob may use device identifiers, advertising IDs, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and to measure ad performance.

You can control ad personalization through your device settings:

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization.

For more information on how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see Google’s Privacy Policy:

  • https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543 (How Google uses data)

5. AI Feature & Google Gemini

The PQP Ask AI feature is powered by Google’s Generative AI (Gemini) API. Text you submit to the AI is transmitted to Google to generate a response. Your use of this feature is also governed by Google’s privacy terms:

The AI provides automated, general study guidance and may produce inaccurate information. Always verify important details with official sources.

The App contains links to external websites and downloadable resources (for example, official exam notifications, question papers, and result pages). These open in your device’s external web browser. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third-party websites. Please review their privacy policies separately.

7. Data Sharing

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the App:

  • Google AdMob — for advertising.
  • Google Gemini API — for the AI assistant feature.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.

8. Data Retention

  • Locally stored data (bookmarks, AI usage count) remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App.
  • Data processed by Google (AdMob, Gemini) is retained according to Google’s own retention policies.
  • We do not maintain our own user accounts or personal-data database.

9. Children’s Privacy

PQP is intended for users preparing for government job examinations and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it. Users who are minors should use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

10. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data:

  • India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023): You may have rights to access, correct, and erase your personal data, and to grievance redressal. Contact us at the email above to exercise these rights.
  • EU/EEA & UK (GDPR): rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale”/”sharing” of personal information.

You can also control ad personalization via your device settings, and you can clear all locally stored app data at any time through your device’s app settings.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information, including using secure (HTTPS) connections for data transfer. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Significant changes may be communicated through an app update or notice.

13. Disclaimer

PQP is an independent educational application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any government organization, department, or examination authority. All exam information (previous year papers, syllabus, admit cards, results, cut-off, answer keys, and notifications) is gathered from publicly available official sources and provided for educational and informational purposes only.
